Mental training · Softball & Baseball

Train the mindlike you train the swing.

Year-round mental training programs, built by a coach and educator, for players ages 10–18 and the adults who lead them.

The approach

Built for the season, not the seminar.

Mental skills are taught the way physical skills are: a little at a time, practiced on purpose, all year long.

01

Year-round structure

38 weekly lessons that move with the calendar, so mental work fits into practice instead of competing with it.

02

Age-specific

Separate editions for ages 10–12 and 13–18, written for where players actually are.

03

Research-labeled

Every lesson is labeled by the strength of the research behind it, so you know what you’re teaching and why.

The coach behind it
Coached like a teacher. Taught like a coach.
15years coaching
11years in the classroom
B.S.Physical Education, minor in Coaching
M.A.Curriculum & Instruction

The Standard Athletics was built by a coach and educator with 15 years of coaching experience and 11 years in the classroom.

Every program is designed the way a good curriculum is: clear goals, a sensible sequence, and lessons that fit into a real practice week. It brings together exercise science, psychology and the day-to-day reality of coaching young athletes.

The Mental Game is the first line. More sport-specific training is on deck.
